Exchange and Refund Policy

As of March 1, 2015, Ananse Design Essentials no longer accepts returns on merchandise purchased online unless item is defective or otherwise unwearable.  I pride myself on creating quality handcrafted accessories.  Contact me via email at anansedesign@gmail.com,  if you have any questions regarding our merchandise prior to purchasing (i.e. size, color, etc) and I will be happy to assist you.   

However, I do accept exchanges of similar products as long as the exchanged item is in-stock.  Please follow the following process if you'd like to exchange an item.

  • Contact anansedesign@gmail.com in order to request exchange authorization number (EA)
  • Once you have received an EA and shipping instructions, send your original packing slip along with all items including any earring backs, findings, etc. 
  • All exchange requests must be received within 10 days of delivery.
  • Please note that all sale and special order merchandise is final sale and non-exchangeable.
  • Customer shall be responsible for the costs of return shipping.
  • To ensure that your exchange is adequately protected in transit, we recommend you send your items to us in the original packaging provided and use a carrier with whom you can track your goods to ensure they are received.
  • Once we receive the goods, in their original condition, we will ship your new order or process an online credit for the exchange.

Due to the select, limited nature of handcrafted merchandise, anansedesignessentials.com can not guarantee availability of merchandise for exchanges.
